Join us for a hands-on journey to a better understanding of generational differences as well as similarities.
Using Shafer Leadership Academy’s innovative and proprietary Generational Game Board, participants explore various social, political, and economic influences that shape the working attitudes of the Greatest Generation, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and now Generation Z.
This workshop will equip participants to be more effective communicators and leaders through understanding the various generations in the workplace today. The goal is to create “win-win” solutions that promote inter-generational understanding and result in positive workplaces and communities.
If you think this workshop will “fix” people who are older, or younger, than you, then this is NOT the workshop for you. This workshop shows that each generation has a perspective to add, and that like any team, those perspectives must be understood and appreciated in order to develop a highly functioning unit. This workshop provides a way of looking at another person so you can relate to their experience and understand their perspectives.

If you had a key that would unlock all the answers to your team mates, would you use it?
Imagine having the knowledge to truly understand yourself and others without requiring years of study. Real Colors® is that key. The Real Colors instrument is a simple, intuitive system for identifying the four temperaments (Blue, Gold, Green, or Orange). It provides users with an effective tool for understanding human behavior, for uncovering motivators specific to each temperament, and for improving communication skills.
Real Colors is presented in a fast, fun, interactive format where participants can learn how to quickly identify their own temperament or “color” and that of others. Using this powerful knowledge, they can develop more effective communication skills and build better relationships in and out of the workplace.
Takeaways: Participants will be able to…
- recognize their strengths and the strengths of others;
- build rapport quickly with clients, peers, and family;
- understand how others process information; and,
- modify their communications style to connect with others.
