This group’s mission was to develop a comprehensive plan for a cost-effective, efficient road system to service projected needs into the year 2020. The Goal of their report was to improve the health, safety, convenience, and welfare of the citizens of Hendricks County by planning for future development so that the highway systems are adequate; that the needs of agriculture, industry, and business are recognized in future thoroughfare growth; and that the implementation of the transportation system is mindful of the efficient and economical use of public funds. |
