| Synopsis: | This group’s goal was to designate a literacy program for the H.C. Probation Dept. To increase the literacy levels of selected probationers. They not only provided a mechanism for identifying those most in need of literacy instruction, but also a plan and a process to deliver that instruction to selected probationers. Their goal was to decrease recidivism in our courts and jails. |
